If you have closings scheduled this week or early next week, please finalize insurance coverage as soon as possible. A binding moratorium may be implemented shortly, preventing new policies from being issued until the storm has passed. Avoid any delays that could impact your closings.

🚨 **GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN and FLOOD INSURANCE!!** 🚨

PSA for my Realtor and Lender friends regarding the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP):

👉 During the government shutdown, **new NFIP flood policies cannot be written.**
👉 If you have buyers going under contract for homes in high-risk flood zones, reach out to me so we can look at **private flood insurance options.**

At Goosehead, we partner with many private flood insurance carriers that remain open for business during the shutdown. Just keep in mind:
