๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ž๐Ÿ is our current longest resident and has been with us for ๐˜ฐ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ ๐Ÿฑ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ด, ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฎ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€ to be exact.๐Ÿ’” Unbelievably this sweet boy still greets us everyday with a smile and wagging tail!! ๐Ÿพ

๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ž๐Ÿ came to us as a surrender by someone who was taking care of him for his owner. But after 3 months of not hearing from them, she could no longer continue caring for him.

๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ž๐Ÿ is about 3 years old and a hefty 70 pounds ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ž๐Ÿ was said to be house and crate trained.
๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ž๐Ÿ is a big, loveable goofball who loves any and all attention he can get! ๐Ÿฅฐ
๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ž๐Ÿ would do best in a household without ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›

๐ŸŒจ๏ธwinter storm๐Ÿฅถ in January this year.

๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ was found chained to the porch of an uninhabited house with no food, no water, and no shelter from the up coming storm.

๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ was horribly emaciated and we would later discover that he was heartworm positive too. ๐Ÿ’”

Thanks to you, our ๐€๐–๐Ž๐‹ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ, the money was raised for his heartworm treatment and we are so excited to announce that ๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ is finished with his treatments and READY for the FINAL and BEST chapter of his life to begin. The one where he is free from a life of suffering at the end of a chain, surrounded by the love of a dedicated family in the safety of a new home. ๐Ÿก

๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ is approximately 2-3 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and on a flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ is extremely dog friendly and LOVES people. He is curious about cats but doesnโ€™t know how to correctly play with them so he would do best in a home without ๐Ÿšซ cats.

๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ has been with us more than ๐Ÿ“ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ. ๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ has been through so much. ๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐›๐ž๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐Ÿ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ. This duo has been through some tough times lately. They were brought in once and quickly reclaimed. But then they came in again...and no one came for them this time ๐Ÿ˜ข So now they find themselves starting over in the shelter. But they would much rather their fresh start be in a safe, loving home instead.

๐–๐š๐ฒ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง is a goofy and playful guy. He is 52 pounds but not very tall, and we believe he is likely a cattle dog and shepherd mix. In spite of his height, he has incredible athleticism and has been known to climb the short fences of our outdoor runs a couple times, so a SECURE home is a must! We just know he would thrive in an active home that truly made him a part of the family and gave him the love and enrichment he so desperately craves.

๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข is the sweetest girl who loves to run to your feet and immediately roll over for some belly rubs! We also suspect she is a cattle dog/shepherd mix, but favors the shepherd look a bit more. We of course can't know whether she and ๐–๐š๐ฒ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง are siblings, but she's pretty much over him like they are ๐Ÿ˜‚. She is a little picky about potential friends, so we suggest a meet and greet first with any existing dogs in the home to be sure they mesh well!

They even gave some of our pups some tasty treats to enjoy today ๐Ÿ’• And thanks to one of our volunteers, they got to enjoy them with some donated bully stick holders that will be so useful in enriching our dogs on these upcoming hot days!
