As I start to unpack everything from the long day we had at the Buffalo Rodeo Grounds yesterday honoring Carrie Hoeschen 💜 I can’t be more greatful of the barrel racing community! I personally did not know Carrie very well but listening to all the stories yesterday there was three words that stuck out most to me about her which are generosity, friendships, and cheerfulness.

We paid out a total of $17,498 🎉 with only 144 in the open. We cannot do any of this without our amazing arena crew, office crew, tractor driver, spectators, & contestants.

It was a tough day in the barrel racing community honoring two wonderful people ; Carrie & Dalton Stang.
Early yesterday morning as I quick checked my phone I saw this post from Nick with 144 Visuals that stuck with me all day. “No matter which event you attend today just take in the fact that both of these individuals have left an impact on many folks. It wasn’t money, it wasn’t “success”, it wasn’t anything other than love, friendship, and respect.”

We are excited to watch what the 2026 season brings for many but these two wonderful people will always hold a special place for many.
