CELEBRATE YOUR OWN WINS
It’s important to run your own race. Ride your own horse, do your own warm up, and celebrate your own wins. It doesn't matter if there are 25 or 500 entries, everyone wants to win, but ultimately, everyone has to show up to even be one step closer to winning.
You owe it to yourself to fully show up in this lifetime... Get off autopilot! Save the excuses. It's not about having time... It's about making time.
Winning doesn’t look the same for everyone and that is perfectly OKAY.
Some days winning is finally owning that horse who gives you the chance to place at that big show.
Some days winning is that your horse is sound after months of time off.
Some days winning is that your horse walked into the alleyway.
Some days winning is that you left three barrels standing.
Rarely ever is “winning” actually WINNING. Most of the wins happen outside of that arena.
Don’t compare your win to the person who took home one of the round checks... You never know, that may be just what they needed to not give up on their dreams. Congratulate them for that win after you congratulate yourself.
It is so easy to get caught up in the idea of “winning” that we lose sight of our own goals, how far we have come, what we have conquered, and the wins that we let slip by us because they weren’t declared a WIN on paper.
Easier said than done, I know. I'm my own worst critic. Nothing is ever good enough for me. I'm the worst at not cekevrating my small wins.
So in case you haven’t heard it... in case you are like me, or in case you haven’t told yourself lately... CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WIN!
YOU DESERVED EVERY DAMN ONE OF THEM!!!
