Wild Horse Youth Challenge

Wild Horse Youth Challenge Mustang Days was developed to showcase the versatility of the Mustang. Wild Horse Youth Challenge is a two day event. Showmanship, Trail and Freestyle.

Through fun competition at the Mustang Showcase & the Wild Horse Youth Challenge, we hope to entertain and educate, as well as bring awareness to the needs of Mustangs. Youth ages 9 - 18 from across Kansas and neighboring states are chosen by application process in April. Once chosen and c**t is picked up, their goal is to gentle and ground train Weanling or Yearling wild c**ts and return to the K

ansas State Fair where they compete in 3 classes. Trainers have the option to adopt their c**ts for $25 or put them up for adoption via live bid at the end of competition. We are modifying as we grow so stay tuned and follow our page!

Hey all it is FINALLY HERE the 2026 WHYC Supporter shirt. We are all things AMERICA this year!

You can make a $40.00 donation to put your business or your personal name on the back of this shirt. All Proceeds go back to the kids and the horses.

Here is on on picking up feet. If you are unsure about reaching that rope between the legs, lay it in a U shape and walk them into it. Please use a soft cotton rope.
