Violet is still here at the shelter, waiting for someone (or a whole family!) to walk through our doors, meet her, and decide that she's worth choosing.
She's been doing SO well meeting new people (especially because new friends usually mean WALKIES! 😉), and she's even getting to join group walks with other dogs when we can make it happen!
She's making progress around other dogs, which is exciting! However, if you already have dogs at home, meet-and-greets will be required to make sure everyone is a good fit. She'll also need ongoing training and guidance to help her adjust to living with another dog in a home. As for cats? They're probably a no-go for this girl, so a cat-free home would be best!
We just don't understand how this sweet girl is still waiting for a home when every day, she's being reminded of what a good, sweet, cuddly girl she is.
Now, we're not going to pretend Violet is perfect. She's got some quirks to work through (don't we all? 😂), and she'll need someone willing to give her patience, guidance, and clear expectations as she continues learning. But with the right person in her corner, we know she's only going to keep growing into the best dog she can be!
Once Violet trusts you, she's a total cuddle bug who just wants to be close to her people. She has so much love to give, and she deserves a chance to show someone just how special she can be.
