Hurricane Animal Shelter serves the great community of Hurricane City, Utah. Our building is not only user friendly for visitors and staff, but also caters to the needs and comforts of our 4 legged guests as well. Our successful adoption rates are close to the highest in the state, a fact we are very proud of and work hard to maintain. We are staffed by a Supervising Officer, two full time Animal
Control Officers, two full time Shelter Attendants, and our dedicated volunteers.
***Because more often then not we only have one person in our office at a time. We ask that you call ahead and schedule an appointment before coming to the shelter to either look at our shelter animals, or to meet an adoptable animal. This will ensure that we have set aside an adequate amount of time to make sure the pet you are enquiring about will be a good fit, for not only you, but you for them as well. We also encourage and suggest that if you have other dogs in your household, that we do a meet and greet prior to adoption. This will help ensure the well-being, safety, and correct fit for all animals and family members involved. Most Fridays and Saturdays you can meet some of our cats and kittens at the Petco in Washington City at our weekly adoption event.
