We are only a few days away from the 7th Annual Community Day - and although we have been answering a TON of questions - we also plan share a FAQ post later this week- just to make sure we publicly share all the information possible! But...today is about the GHHS pets that will be available for adoption on Saturday.

In addition to their weekly STAR PET with My Star 99.1, our friends at Stanley Steemer will be covering ALL adoption fees for the pets that are 💛 one year old or older 💛 on Saturday, 10AM-4PM!

That is 30 GHHS pets, including Haven felines (some of the sweetest cats you will ever meet!), a bonded senior pair, and longtime residents - including Chico, Savannah Slim, Woodstock, River, Skunk, Mr. Tabby, & Clover 🐾

Meet the beautiful SALLY.🐈‍⬛
Sally is a FeLV+ guest in our Haven. She is not only a beautiful, but she is also an affectionate girl who loves to chase toys and parkour off of things to get your attention. Sally’s favorite thing is playtime followed by a nice cuddle session. What a great companion kitty. Sally gets along with other friendly felines.😻

Sally is a sleek, little, house panther. Her coat has a slight, yummy, chocolatey undertone. Check out those tiny ear tuffs. And those unique golden, green eyes don’t miss a thing.

We are one week away from the 7th Annual Community Day 🤩
A big shoutout to our partners for making this the event possible!

South Huntsville Veterinary Hospital - through Monte's Clinic efforts we will have FOUR vets on site providing routine care!
FREE vaccines! FREE microchips! Free flea & tick!!

FREE spay/neuter vouchers - thanks to Family Savings Credit Union and a few private donors!! North Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic will be on-site scheduling appointments too!

ACE-K9-Training will be hosting mini-sessions throughout the morning, while Juli with Lucky Dog Mobile Groomers Alabama will be with us promoting their "new to North Alabama" services, along with offering free nail trims, by request, with each rabies vaccine at the clinic 🐾

Our friends, Oody's will be chatting with everyone about their pet waste service (less than $10 a week!), AND....
DonutNV North Alabama will be serving up the sweet treats for the humans - small donuts and lemonade/coffee for each family that receives a service - larger orders are available for purchase!

We will also be hosting a King's Kitchen distribution, no questions asked (and you do not have to be on the program) throughout the event, 9AM-12PM!!

Beth Griffin has been in animal rescue for 16 years, saving the lives of hundreds of animals.

Introducing MARSHMELLOW MAX. More Max than mellow, if truth be told. This dude is big, bossy, and bold. He makes the rules and sets all the boundaries. If he’s in a generous mood, you will have his complete attention and affection. If not, then you just give him plenty of space. Either way, Max will be a staunch and loyal companion. He does not like other cats and does best in a calm, child-free environment.

Max is a big, handsome ginger tabby. He has subtle white accessories and absolutely gorgeous, light green eyes. Just look at that face! We are in love.

Despite his tough personality, Max has a sensitive digestive system that requires special prescription dry food. He is currently on Royal Canin HP (Hydrolyzed Protein). It costs approximately $82.00 for a 7lb bag.
