Today, our team is kicking off its journey in Japan, and we're bringing a beautiful Japanese tradition to Valley!

In Japan, Ema (絵馬) are small wooden plaques traditionally found at Shinto shrines. Visitors write their wishes, hopes, and messages of gratitude on these plaques before hanging them on a special display, creating a wall filled with meaningful messages. ❤️

We're putting our own Valley twist on this tradition by creating an Ema Wall of Appreciation! 🐾

When you visit us today, we invite you to write a message of gratitude, encouragement, or appreciation for our incredible team on one of our wooden-inspired plaques. We'll proudly display your messages on our wall for everyone to enjoy!

🐾💻 EXCITING CHANGES ARE COMING TO VALLEY! 💻🐾

We're upgrading our system on November 2nd!

We are excited to announce that Valley Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is transitioning to a brand-new Practice Information Management System (PIMS) on Monday, November 2, 2026!

This new system will help us streamline daily operations, improve efficiency, and continue providing the best possible care for your furry family members! 🐶🐱❤️

🐾 What does this mean for you and your pets?

Our new system will help our team better manage medical records, appointments, prescriptions, and communication, allowing us to focus even more on what matters most — your pet's health and happiness!

📅 IMPORTANT DATES & SCHEDULE CHANGES 📅

To allow our team time to prepare, train, and successfully transition to our new system, please take note of the following:

💊 Thursday, October 29th – Prescription Deadline

In preparation for our system transition, we ask that all prescriptions currently awaiting pickup be picked up and/or paid for by Thursday, October 29th.

Any prescriptions that have not been picked up or paid for by this date will be returned to our shelves as we prepare to transfer to our new system.

We encourage you to plan ahead to avoid any interruptions in your pet's medications!

🐾 Friday, October 30th: Closing early at 5:00 PM

🐾 Saturday, October 31st: CLOSED

🐾 Monday, November 2nd: Opening at 1:00 PM

On our launch day, we will also be scheduling longer appointment times to give our team additional time to navigate the new system while continuing to provide the quality care your pets deserve.

💚 WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE! 💚

As with any big change, we anticipate a few learning curves along the way! During the first few weeks of our transition, you may experience:

🐾 Slightly longer check-in and checkout times

🐾 Longer appointment times as our team adjusts

🐾 Possible delays with prescription requests, scheduling, or other administrative processes

We kindly ask for your patience, kindness, and understanding as our team learns and becomes comfortable with our new system.

While the technology behind the scenes may be changing, our dedication to you and your pets remains exactly the same! ❤️
