🎙️ Episode 5: Hunt Test Happy Hour 🍻🐾

Amy Smith is back, and this time we’re bringing you Hunt Test Happy Hour!

We’re kicking back after a day of hunt testing in Lake Charles, to recap the day, talk dogs, share some laughs, and relive the highs, lows, and everything in between.

From the test grounds to the stories that come out after the day is done, we’re talking about what makes these weekends so much fun. Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and join us for some good conversation!

We had a great weekend at the Lake Charles Retriever Club! Thank you to the judges, workers and everyone behind the scenes for putting on these tests…they were some challenging ones, for sure. Thank you Curtis Lindsay for the use of you property and allowing us to stay. Thank you Guy Anderson for keeping up with our crazy at home so we could make this trip.

HRCH Hannah MH—2 Finished passes
4xGRHRCH UH Blue MH—2 Finished passes
HRCH Teeter MH—1 Finished pass…it was self-employed Saturday for her 🙄

Super proud of my girl Lauren for getting a Finished pass with Ember and a Seasoned title with Halle.

Casinos, podcasts, pretzels with b**r cheese and standing beside these incredible animals makes for a memorable weekend. Here’s to us girls chasing our dog dreams! 💪🏼🔥🦆💕

That Cooper Cash (10x GRHRCH UH HOF Darby MH x HRCH Hannah MH 1.0) is back at it this fall! There is no telling how many birds this dog has already picked up at almost 4 years old. Thank you, Greg Hellige for trusting me to pick your boy and sending his pupdates! So proud of y’all both! 💪🏼🔥🦆💙

Vic (AFC 2xSRSACC SRSC SRSAC GRHRCH Rip MH QA2 x HRCH Teeter MH) is excelling in his SAR training!

Su Anderson says, “He is immensely talented. He has been a huge hit for his skill AND personality…a tremendous mix of both. He is WAY ahead of the average 6 month old FEMA candidate by every metric and has been so much fun to train. I cannot thank you enough for producing some high caliber canines.”

What a tremendous breeding this has been…cannot wait for the 2.0 crew!
