This little dog has a BIG personality! They’re known for being confident, independent, fearless, and extremely loyal to their people.

A few fun facts:
• They were originally bred in Scotland to hunt badgers, foxes, and other vermin.
• Their nickname is the “Diehard” because of their tough, determined personality.
• That wiry coat is actually double-layered, helping protect them from Scotland’s weather.
• They’re famous for their signature beard, eyebrows, short legs, and pointy ears.
• And even though they’re small, they definitely don’t seem to know it.

Happy 1st Birthday to sweet Edsel! 🎉💗🐾

Edsel turned ONE yesterday! We’ve had the pleasure of watching this sweet girl grow up through our Puppy Training Program and she has come such a long way! 🥹 She’s been learning, growing, and of course having plenty of fun along the way.

This handsome boy started his journey by earning his AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, and now he has officially passed both his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and AKC Community Canine (CGCA) evaluations! 💙🏅

It’s so rewarding watching all that training build from the puppy basics into the well-mannered dog he is today. We are so proud of how far he’s come!
