✨ A Little Note About Timing ✨

Working with our furry friends can be wonderfully unpredictable, so exact pickup times can be a little tricky to promise. Don’t worry—we’ll always do our best to work around your schedule. You live your life, and we’ll take care of spaw day ✨

Every pup is different, and we always work at their pace. Some appointments fly by, while others need a little extra love, patience, or drying time. Our goal is never to rush your pup just to watch the clock.

Need your pup back by a certain time?
Just let us know WHEN you book your appointment! We’ll always do our very best to accommodate your schedule.

We’ll text you about 30 minutes before your pup’s glam session is finished so you know it’s almost time for the happiest reunion.

If you happen to arrive early, please take a little peek through the window before coming inside. If your pup is still on the grooming table, please hang tight for just a bit!

Once they spot their favorite human, it can be VERY hard to convince them that finishing their haircut is more important than coming to say hello. 😂💕

We typically groom without leashes while pups are on the table, so seeing Mom or Dad can turn into an instant case of “I’M DONE! MY HUMAN IS HERE!” wiggles.

And most importantly…

✨ Please always leave a little extra time for hugs, kisses, happy wiggles, and admiring your freshly groomed baby. 💕

Hi, friends! 🐾

With a recent increase in no-shows and same-day cancellations, we wanted to share a friendly reminder about our cancellation policy.

Please drop off your pet by the scheduled appointment time. We allow a 10-minute grace period, but arrivals after that time will need to be rescheduled. A fee equal to 100% of the missed service will also be charged to the card on file.

We understand that life happens and that some situations are beyond your control. If something comes up that will prevent you from attending your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Same-day openings are difficult to fill, and no-shows have a significant impact on our small business.

We truly appreciate your understanding, communication, and continued support.

✨ 5 YEARS OF THE DAPPER DOG SPAW ✨

Five years ago, Carri and Kaylin opened a salon like no other at the time in South HSV — with a simple goal: to create a place where our fuzzy friends could be kennel-free, stress-free, and where their comfort would always come first. 🐾💕

What started with just the two of us doing everything has grown into something we could have never imagined. And honestly, we’re still a little amazed by it every single day.

To the clients who believed in us when it was just Carri and Kaylin, and to all of the new friends who have loved us, supported us, and patiently been with us through all of of our growing pains, thank you. We truly wouldn’t be here without you. 🥹

We wanted to create a positive, happy place where you could drop off your best friend knowing they were safe, comfortable, and loved. And nothing makes us happier than seeing our longtime clients bolt through the door because they’re so excited to come say hi.

Five years, thousands of wagging tails, countless wet noses, SO many laughs, and more love than we could have ever imagined.
