Kanaan wants you to know that before you log off for the holiday weekend, he’s available for adoption!

This handsome boy is about 4 years old and a Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. He’s still pretty shy around people, but thanks to his amazing foster home, he’s learning how good it is to just be a dog.

We don’t know much about his past other than he spent a lot of time outside. These days, he’s discovered that the couch is MUCH better. Bones, treats, and dinner time are some of his favorite things, and he’s dog friendly too!

That little head tilt alone deserves a forever home.

🐾 ZORRO 🐾

We are proud to introduce you to Zorro!

Don’t let that serious face fool you! Zorro is one happy, sweet boy and has already become a favorite at the rescue. He loves attention, walks well on a leash, and did great riding in the car.

We’re still getting to know Zorro and learning how he does with other dogs, but he’s already shown us what a good boy he is.

And yes, we know you can see his scars. We don’t know everything this boy has been through, but we do know they don’t define him. He’s sweet, happy, loves his people, and deserves a family who sees the handsome boy underneath them.

Zorro is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, so he’s ready for the next chapter.

It’s almost yard sale time again!

We’re gearing up for the next Notorious Indoor Yard Sale and will be collecting donations next week!

📍 100 Church Street, Madison
🗓️ Monday, September 7th | 4–7 PM
🗓️ Thursday, September 10th | 6–8 PM

We’re especially looking for tools, kids clothing, toys, and holiday decor, but we’ll take other yard sale donations too!

And while you’re cleaning things out, don’t toss those old throw blankets! We can use them at the rescue to keep the dogs warm this winter.

Let’s talk about Tilly!

This girl loves the water, loves her tennis ball, and clearly loves having her picture taken. Just look at that smile! 🥰

Tilly is loving, affectionate, eager to please, and very treat motivated. She does need to be your one and only dog, but she has plenty of love to give all by herself.

She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Meadow is thriving in her foster home and ready to find her forever family!
