When I first saw the building this window had a panel completely covering it up. I knew right away it had to go! I envisioned dogs looking out and all the natural light it would let in!

Turns out, I was right! The dogs love watching all the activity outside! Now I may clean the nose smudges off multiple times a day… but I don’t mind a bit, it’s worth it!!🥲

Mr. Keller is 10 months old and happens to be both blind and deaf, but that doesn’t slow this silly boy down one bit. He navigates the world with his strong nose and sense of touch, and he’s pretty darn good at it! 😄
Keller is a great example of why grooming isn’t one size fits all here at Bark House Grooming Co. His grooming plan is built around his individual needs and most importantly, setting him up for success. Every detail matters in making grooming a safe and comfortable experience for him. I’m so happy to be a part of Keller’s grooming journey! 💙

Oh hey, I’m Mariah!👋
I’m the owner, groomer, bather, receptionist, scheduler, social media manager, and pretty much everything else around here! (The only one I can't claim is the maintenance dept. my handy husband has got that one covered!😉) but yep, it’s a one woman show and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I figured it was officially time you all had a face behind the dream here at Bark House Grooming Co. ☺️ I’ve always felt a tug at my heart to be an entrepreneur, and dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Becoming a dog groomer felt more like a dream than a reality, so I tucked that dream away and went on to explore other avenues. But that little dream never really left me, and eventually, I decided to take that feeling seriously. I traded my desk job for a grooming table, picked up a pair of shears, and started training!

Now, almost five years later… that dream is my reality. If there’s one thing I’ve learned along the way, it’s to listen to your heart and to recognize when God has put a calling on it. What started as a little dream tucked away in the back of my pocket has grown into something I’m incredibly proud to call my own. I’m so grateful to do something I love, and to serve the dogs of Huntington while getting to know all of you, too!

Now we’ll get back to the regular scheduled programming, posting faces that are much cuter than mine😂
