How does a smart, beautiful, dog friendly , kind, trained dog wind up IN THE MARKSVILLE HELLHOLE SHELTER! We have NO idea how Sundance was in one of the worst animal shelters in Louisiana! BRUISER definitely put his best paw forward at our adoption event! His tail wagged nonstop for 4 hours, kisses were free and plentiful and he happily welcomed every pup that walked thru the door.
He still wasn’t adopted 😞 we would LOVE to see him in an amazing family with his own place on the couch. WHERE HE BELONGS! He doesn’t understand why he didn’t walk out the front door with a family. Call us at 917 685-8422 to meet him!

Hello,

I am contacting you because I am desperate to find a decent situation for my dog Nugget.
I am getting evicted imminently and because of my eviction and the fact that I have nowhere else to live, I am going back to my home country.
Unfortunately, my home country has a strict ban on any kind of pitbull and pitbull mix, so I cannot Nugget with me.
I am supposed to be evicted within the next two weeks.

I have been searching for a home/rescue/shelter for Nugget for weeks and all I have heard is refusal. I have contacted by email or phone call more than 400 rescues at this point.

Nugget is a 3.5y old pitbull

PLEASE HELP, I AM HUMBLY ASKING YOU TO THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SAY NO.
I have contacted more than 400 rescues so far, and ALL without exception have turned me away.
I am worried sick, and I am mentally and physically exhausted to receive nothing but refusal all day long, every day.

DISTANCE IS NOT A PROBLEM, I am willing to travel anywhere to bring Nugget wherever there is a place for him.

I have taken Nugget to the dog park AND to doggie day care many times OFF leash and it has gone splendidly with Nugget playing with his mates and taking social cues from them.
I have videos of him in day care where he plays with dogs perfectly well.

I have attached pictures of my sweet Nugget.

I am begging out for help as the only other solution I have been advised is to euthanize him and I absolutely want to avoid that at all costs.
