How often should your dog really get groomed?

The answer depends on 3 things:

🐾 Coat length – Longer hair usually needs more maintenance.

🐾 How quickly tangles form – If your dog’s coat gets tangled easily, waiting too long can make grooming uncomfortable.

🐾 Your brushing routine – Be realistic about how much brushing you can do at home!

There’s no perfect schedule for every dog. The goal is to keep your pup comfortable, healthy, and looking cute! 💕

Brushing every day doesn’t always mean your dog is tangle-free. 👀

A brush can glide smoothly over the top while small mats are still hiding underneath.

That’s why we use line brushing:
part the coat into small sections, brush from the skin outward, and always finish with a metal comb.

If the comb can glide through easily, you’re done. ✨

A few extra minutes at home can make grooming much more comfortable for your dog — and help keep the coat longer between appointments.
