Nelli Anne Game Recovery

Sad to say that the Nelli Anne tracking team will not be tracking for the foreseeable future. Nelli was the best first hunting dog I could’ve asked for. She never left my side, always knew what I wanted her to do, and loved everyone and everything. She got to make so many friends in her short life through tracking and hunting. Although she went way too early, I know she’s saving me a seat in His hunting blind❤️

Glad to help out with this track last night! 100% clean track with zero blood the whole trail. It goes to show how if you call a dog in and you haven’t contaminated the track, everything goes much smoother. Nelli made quick work out of this one! Congrats Denni!

We will not be taking anymore tracks this season, Nelli is in full waterfowl mode! She retrieved her first duck this morning, it was a crippled drake wood duck.

Nelli’s last three recovery’s have all been first bucks! She was able to find the buck this morning in about 5 minutes of being out on the trail at the hit sight. The buck didn’t go all that far and we only ever found one or two drops of blood on the whole trail! I’m not sure that it would’ve been found without her because it died in a spot that you couldn’t see it until you were right next to it! Onto the next!
