🇺🇸🐴 Horses & Heroes — Veteran Horsemanship Program 🐴🇺🇸

Second Chance Equine Association is proud to offer Horses & Heroes, a 6-week horsemanship program created especially for our veterans.

This is an opportunity to step away from the everyday, spend time with horses, learn horsemanship skills, build confidence, and simply enjoy the peaceful connection between horses and humans. ❤️

📅 Begins September 10th at 5 PM
⏰ 2-hour sessions every Thursday for 6 weeks
👥 Limited to 6 participants per course
💙 FREE for any veteran

No previous horse experience is required—just come ready to learn, connect, share a cup of coffee, and have some fun at the barn!

We are incredibly proud to offer this program and the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much to us. 🇺🇸

…Just like that… it’s the LAST DAY of the Westmoreland Fair! 🎡🐴❤️

What better way to wrap up an amazing week than with Scott and Fancy doing what they do best! From daily demonstrations to showing just how incredible the partnership between horse and human can be, these two have been a highlight of the fair all week.

We’re so grateful for everyone who stopped by, supported Second Chance Equine Association, and spent a little time with us and the horses. 🐴

🎡🐴 The fair just keeps getting better! ❤️

Sunday’s Veterans Day at the fair was already so special, but last night made it even better. Jarred, who missed Sunday and is part of our Veterans Program, surprised us by stopping in and showing off his horsemanship skills.

We were so happy to have him join us and get a little more fair time with the rest of the crew! 🇺🇸🐴

🇺🇸 Sunday at the Westmoreland Fair 🇺🇸

Sunday was a special day as our Veterans showcased their horsemanship skills at the Westmoreland County Fair. They’ve worked hard all year, and with the guidance of Scott Downs and the steady partnership of Fancy, they truly shined! 🐴❤️

We are so grateful to Paul, Juan, Sean, Alan, and Adam for their service and for being part of our Second Chance family. We missed you, Jarred! 🇺🇸

A very special thank-you to Scott for his dedication, patience, and commitment to teaching and supporting our Veterans throughout the year.

🐴 DAY 3 AT THE FAIR! 🎡☀️

We’re having another day at the Westmoreland Fair! Come stop by the Second Chance Equine Association booth, say hello, learn about some of our horses, and learn more about what we do. ❤️🐴

And tonight is extra special! 🇺🇸 Our Veterans will be assisting Scott Downs with the demonstrations tonight at 6 PM. Come watch, support them, and see the connection between our veterans and Fancy.
