Seeking a professional individual with solid teaching skills & good theoretical knowledge to teach regularly scheduled lessons & help keep a busy, fun & positive training & lesson barn running smoothly!

We have a really great training program & riding academy with wonderful students (no drama & we work hard to keep it that way!), great horses, & a super team of positive, hard-working individuals who care about each other.

We are a professionally run business where professional communication, teamwork, & quality instruction are top priorities.

We had a great weekend at LandSafe Clinic! Riders spent two days learning how to better prepare for falls, practicing body awareness and tumbling techniques, and working through different fall scenarios. It was a valuable hands-on experience and a great opportunity to build confidence and rider safety skills.

It was a valuable hands-on experience and an important part of becoming a more prepared rider. 🐎

“I just want to trail ride- he doesn’t need to be that broke!”

I hear this one all the time. And I completely understand it. Some people genuinely just want to get on their horse, ride through the woods, and enjoy themselves.

But here's the thing…If you just want to trail ride, that's even more reason to have a broke horse.

Your horse may never need to perform a sliding stop. But he should understand how to shift his weight.

He may never need to turn on a cow. But he should understand how to move his shoulders and hips when you ask.

He may never need to make a perfect show-ring transition. But he should understand your cues and be soft to them.

He may never need to do anything particularly fancy.

But he absolutely needs to know where his feet are, how to balance himself, how to respond to pressure, and how to listen when something unexpected happens.

Because trail riding is full of unexpected things.

Mud. Hills. Water. Logs. Bridges. Dogs. Bikes. Trucks. Wildlife. A horse spooking in front of you. Another horse acting stupid. A gate that needs opened. A branch that catches your rein. A tight space you need to sidepass around.

You don't need a fancy horse.

You don't need a horse with a resume.

But you do need a horse that understands how to communicate with you.

"He doesn't need to be that broke" is exactly how people end up finding out what their horse doesn't know at the worst possible time.

Being broke isn't about having a bunch of tricks.

It's about having buttons that work when you need them. And having a horse that doesn’t need to be babysat.

And I'd rather spend my trail ride enjoying the scenery than wondering what my horse is going to do next.

Our Wide World of Horses campers got to explore different breeds, disciplines, and all the amazing things that make the horse world so much fun.

There was plenty to learn, plenty to try, and plenty of time with the horses!

🐴 A Look Back at Horse Veterinary Camp!

Our riders got a behind-the-scenes look at horse health and veterinary care during Horse Veterinary Camp! From learning about basic care to getting hands-on experience, it was a fun week full of learning, questions, and plenty of time with the horses.

We love seeing our campers become more confident and knowledgeable horse people! ❤️
