… Update… Owner claimed…
New older border collie with new summer hair cut at the shelter. Tail is still long and some fringe on back legs. Looks like she may be a little slow in the hips. Officer picked up at Road and Bridge. Was previously posted over by the Hospital. Sweet baby. If this is your dog or you know who she is please call Hugoton Police Department at 620-544-2020 to make an appointment to claim.

Bonnie out puddle jumping… and I don’t mean over them lol! She is available thru Hugoton Animal shelter. 🥰

Bonnie playing in the rain. Just like any other two year old she went thru every puddle and loved it! No we don’t melt. lol

We have had an offer to pay for Bonnie’s spay and another offer to pay for Bonnie’s adoption fee. Bonnie is a shepherd mix female who loves people. She also loves to go on walks and to run. She is playful. She chases birds and rabbits but does not catch them. Bonnie was tested with dog friendly cats who didn’t run. She sniffed them and moved on. Bonnie is not immediately friendly with other dogs but as soon as she knows they are okay she plays with them. I would say no small dogs because she is big and energetic. She played well with the big male dog we had at the shelter and the puppy we had too, until they were adopted. She is a smart girl and learns quickly. I have taught her to sit, she is still learning not to jump up but doing a lot better. Bonnie keeps a clean kennel when she is taken outside. Bonnie is currant on her parvo distemper and kennel cough vaccinations. She is a very loving girl. Loves a good belly rub. Very patient with me when I dress her up or brush her. We have had her since March and she needs a good home and someone of her own to play with. 🐶🏡
