Dunkin has been working hard on his table manners, and look at him now! Instead of hovering, begging, or trying to score a bite, he’s learning to settle calmly while his family eats.🐾

🐾Say Hello to Wyatt! 🐾

🐾 Wyatt started out our private lessons terrified of the car. He didn’t want to even get near a parked car.
🐾 With consistency from his parents, he now not only walks right up to the car, but gets in and goes for a ride!
🐾 Wyatt is proof that with a little confidence training and consistency from his parents, one of his biggest fears is now a joy!

Two sessions. 👏🐾

After our first session, Max & Cody were already learning to walk on their own sides without pulling, but there was still a lot of wandering and figuring out where they were supposed to be.

After session #2… look at them! 🤩

Both boys walking calmly on their designated sides, staying with mom, and keeping those leashes loose.

They’re still learning, but this is some pretty awesome progress in only two sessions!

Small dogs deserve training too. 🤍

It’s been a little quiet over here lately, but we’ve definitely still been busy! 🐾

Lots of client dogs, lots of training, and of course lots of work with Idella too. 🖤💜

Idella may be my service dog in training, but she has also taught me so much as a dog trainer. She’s challenged me, made me think outside the box, and helped me grow right alongside her.

One of my favorite things about dog training is that there is always something new to work on. No dog is perfect, training is never truly “finished,” and we’re always learning together. 🐾

And of course, I had to share this picture because look at that face 😂💜

This wasn’t a planned training setup, it was a real-life situation. When another dog began pulling toward Idella and we couldn’t safely move around it, I backed her away and used my body to protect her space.

She remained seated and allowed me to handle the situation without reacting. Neutrality doesn’t mean a dog should tolerate every dog entering their space. It also means trusting their handler to advocate for them before they feel the need to respond. I’m incredibly proud of how far she has come. 🥰

Friendly or not, please give working dogs and dogs in training space.
