2:30am: my phone rings. One of our kids needs us. Of course we went. No questions asked. 💛

Back by 3:30am. Talking on the porch until 4:30am. The boys have to be up at 5 for a 45-minute drive to school. So... what’s the point of going back to sleep? No point. We got this. ☕

Here’s the truth about our life: it doesn't pause for a long night nor do the mushrooms stop growing just because the bird is crowing. 🐓 Harvest patrol. Tincture duty. All the in between and then school pickup after football. Derek spent the day trenching electrical lines in 90+ degree Texas heat + 99% humidity, so I sent him to lay down early. "Why?" Because I said so, sir. 🤨

And that means...no Derek is NOT cooking tonight, and no, I don't fill in for him (he doesn’t trust me, and I’m spoiled😏).

Domino’s it is, kids. 🍕

8:30pm: reishi, magnesium, shower, lights out. Tomorrow starts with a fresh dose of lion’s mane, and hopefully no 2:30am crisis. 😵‍💫
