Sweet Betty White, a senior is looking for a loving home.
09/28/2026

Sweet Betty White, a senior is looking for a loving home.

🤍BETTY WHITE IS READY TO TRUST YOU WITH HER HEART 🤍

Meet Betty White, a 10+ year-old girl who has been through some changes, but hasn’t lost her sweetness—or her willingness to trust someone to guide her.

Betty is blind due to bilateral cataracts, but she doesn’t let that stop her from experiencing the world around her. Put a leash on Betty and she perks up, ready to go. She walks slowly and carefully, following your lead and trusting you to help her along the way.

In a play yard, Betty takes her time exploring, using her nose to investigate her surroundings. She responds to your voice and will make her way toward you when you call. And if you happen to have a treat waiting for her? Even better. ❤️

There is something especially touching about watching Betty move forward with such trust despite not being able to see where she's going. She doesn't need someone to change the world for her—just someone willing to help her navigate it.

If you have room in your heart for a very sweet senior girl who deserves love, kindness and a safe place to land, please come meet Betty.

UPDATE: ADOPTED!
❤️ MEET MAX — 10 YEARS OF BEING SOMEONE’S FAMILY ❤️

Max is 10 years old, and unlike many of the dogs who arrive at the shelter with an unknown past, Max comes with a whole history. He has spent the last 10 years with his family. Now,Max is looking for a new place to call home.

And his family gave us quite a picture of the dog they know and love.

Max has lived with adults, teenagers and young children, and his family says he got along with everyone in the household. He has also lived with another dog and did well when properly introduced. He has not lived with cats.

They describe Max as fun and a snuggler. He loves being petted—especially his head, sides and belly—and enjoys playing with just about everything, including toys and chew toys. He loves going for rides in the car, too.

Perhaps the most touching answer on his entire surrender profile came when his family was asked what they liked best about Max. Their answer was simply:

“He is family.” ❤️

At 10 years old, Max isn't looking to start over from scratch. He's looking to continue being what he has always been—someone's family.

Sugar is looking for a home. Citrus County FL

UPDATE: ON A SLUMBER PARTY!

❤️ SWEET SENIOR SUGAR IS LOOKING FOR A SOFT PLACE TO LAND ❤️

At 11 years old and just 11 pounds, Sugar should be spending his days enjoying the good stuff—cozy blankets, comfortable naps, tasty treats and someone nearby who loves him. 🐾

This handsome little senior has previously lived with another dog, so he has experience sharing his home with a canine companion.

And can we talk about that face? Those enormous ears, expressive eyes and distinguished little frosted muzzle give Sugar a look all his own. ❤️

Senior dogs have so much to offer. Sugar doesn't need to grow up or figure out who he's going to be. He's already lived a whole lot of life. What he needs now is someone willing to make his next chapter a really good one.
