Heard a baby deer on and off crying all morning and afternoon and once the puppies fell asleep I made the trek into the woods on my property. Found this little thing with a broken leg… it’s in rough shape. It has its umbilical cord still attached so it’s only a couple days old. Just dropped it off at a wildlife rehabilitation center and crossing my fingers it makes it 🙏🏻

It was a hot week for the pups as their bodies learn to regulate temperatures. We have a mister going full time and this week they’ll get a pool!
