Veterinary Technician Week Spotlight: Sydney!

Sydney has been part of Animal Care Center of Hudson since 2022, making her one of our longest-standing team members! She started as a veterinary assistant and worked her way up to becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. We’re proud of her hard work and how much she has grown along the way.

Sydney’s love for our patients shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s offering a comforting cuddle or taking extra time to help a nervous pet settle in, she puts their comfort first.

Thank you, Sydney, for the kindness, dedication, and care you bring to our team and the pets we serve.

A Little Extra Appreciation for Elly This Veterinary Technician Week!

Elly is our longest-standing technician, joining our team in March 2025 and bringing over six years of experience in veterinary medicine!

Technicians wear many hats in our clinic. These photos show Elly monitoring anesthesia and scrubbing in to assist our doctors during surgery when an extra set of skilled hands is needed. Just a glimpse of the many ways she helps care for your pets.

We’re grateful for the experience, care, and teamwork Elly brings to Animal Care Center of Hudson. We’re so glad to have her on our team!

They can’t ask your pet how they’re feeling—but they know how to watch, listen, and care. ❤️🐾

This Veterinary Technician Week, we’re celebrating the people who monitor anesthesia, collect samples, deliver treatments, and notice the little changes that matter. They also make time for a reassuring scratch behind the ears.

To our veterinary technicians: thank you for your knowledge, your patience, and the care you give every patient. We’re lucky to have you on our team!

Leave a ❤️ or a thank-you below to help us celebrate them!

Helping pets get back to moving comfortably. ❤️🐾

Here, Dr. Butler is using ultrasound to guide a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection to treat a tendon injury in this patient’s shoulder.

PRP uses a concentrated portion of the patient’s own blood containing platelets and growth factors to support the body’s healing process. It may be an option for certain tendon and ligament injuries or joints affected by arthritis.

Every patient’s needs are different. If your pet has a persistent limp, arthritis, or an injury, schedule a consultation with Dr. Butler to discuss whether PRP could be part of their treatment plan.

📞 Give us a call—we’d love to help your pet move more comfortably!

Sweater weather for us can still be tick weather for your pets! 🍂🐾

Deer ticks can be active in cooler months, so keep your pet’s flea and tick prevention on schedule throughout the year.

Not sure when their next dose is due? Give Animal Care Center of Hudson a call—we’re happy to help!

Would you believe these photos show the same dog? ❤️🐾

Meet Cookie, the sweetest pup, who has been living with an autoimmune condition. Over the past year, Cookie’s owners have worked closely with Dr. Keller to help get the condition under control. Look at that progress!

Behind these photos is a year of care, patience, and dedication from Cookie’s family. We’re so grateful for their trust and thrilled to celebrate how far Cookie has come.

Looking good, Cookie!
