A huge congratulations to our August obedience training graduates! We are so proud of each and every one of them and all the progress they made during their time with us. ❤️

One of our favorite parts of this group was watching our young ones grow and progress so well. It was incredible to see their confidence build, their skills improve, and their personalities shine as they learned and worked through new challenges.

We loved watching each dog gain confidence in themselves and discover just how much they are capable of! We are so proud of this group and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they continue to accomplish.

🎉🐾 Congratulations to our July Training Graduates! 🐾🎉

What an incredible group this was!

Our July graduates ranged in age from just under 6 months all the way to 5 years old, proving that it’s never too early, or too late to start training. This group taught us just as much as we hope we taught them!

It was so much fun watching such a unique mix of personalities come together. From spunky, high-energy pups who were always ready to play, to calm and collected learners, to the sweetest, most loving companions, and even a brother and sister duo, each dog brought something special to the program.

We couldn’t be prouder of everything this group accomplished. Their confidence, obedience, and growth throughout the program have been amazing to watch, and we know they’re heading home with the skills to continue succeeding.

A huge thank you to all of the owners for your hard work, consistency, and dedication. Training doesn’t stop when your dog comes home, and your commitment is what makes lasting results possible.

We can’t wait to see all the adventures that lie ahead for each and every one of these amazing dogs. Congratulations again, you all earned it! 👏

🎉 Congratulations to Scooby on graduating from our obedience training program! 🎉

Scooby was such a sweet dog with a fun, playful personality and an eagerness to learn that made him a joy to work with. Every day he showed us just how capable he was, and it was so rewarding to watch his confidence and skills grow.

We are incredibly proud of both Scooby and his owners for all the hard work they put into this journey. Training doesn’t stop when your dog goes home, and their dedication and consistency have made all the difference.

Thank you for trusting Arrowhead Kennels to help Scooby work through the challenges he was experiencing at home. It means so much to us to be a part of that journey, and we’re excited for all the adventures and success that lie ahead for this crew!

Notice to Cedar Valley Dog Owners:

After seeing some symptoms here and talking with Cedar Valley veterinarians, there has been a high amount of kennel cough cases in the area. We have received a couple of calls regarding this.

Coughing and sneezing seem to be the main symptoms lasting 7-15 days.

We at Arrowhead are doing everything we can to keep our kennels clean and sanitized.. All dogs coming into our facility have been vaccinated against kennel cough. There is still a chance your dog could get kennel cough even if vaccinated, but it will help heal faster (similar to flu shot for humans).

Please be aware of this as you take your dog in public areas. Be cautious and keep him/her away from other dogs as much as possible.

We couldn’t be more proud of Chance and everything he accomplished during his training! ❤️

Being deaf has never slowed him down. Through consistency, patience, and teamwork, Chance learned to confidently respond to commands (through hand signals ✋) and enjoy the freedom of reliable off-leash adventures. Watching him succeed has been incredibly rewarding, and seeing him continue to thrive after returning home is the best part of what we do.

We’re also so grateful to Chance’s owners for believing in us and trusting our training program. Their commitment to following through at home has made all the difference. Dog training is truly a team effort, and their hard work has helped Chance become the amazing dog he is today.

Congratulations, Chance! We know you and your family have many more off-leash adventures ahead. 🐾💙

A huge congratulations to our May obedience training dogs Thor, Odie, and Laser Beam for completing their program at Arrowhead Kennels! 👏 We are so proud of all the hard work these dogs (and their owners!) have put in.

At the end of our training program you will have a well-behaved dog you can truly trust whether at home, out in public, or on exciting off-leash adventures together.

We teach basic obedience including off-leash place, recall, sit, and heel to help build confidence, freedom, and reliability.

We also spend time training the dogs together to work on socialization, appropriate play, and building confidence around other dogs in a structured environment.
