Meet Miss Phoebe 💕🐾

Phoebe came to us after the breeding facility she lived in was shut down, and she’s slowly learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. 🥹

She may be nervous when you first meet her, but underneath that shy exterior is a sweet, playful, and incredibly smart girl. Once she feels comfortable, she loves to run, play with her doggie friends, and show off tricks like high five, fetch, and “bang bang”! ✨

This sweet girl made her way from Georgia to Massachusetts after being saved from the euthanasia list, and she’s been learning just how good life can be ever since. 🥹

Kayla can be shy at first, but with patience and a little help from her doggie friends, her sweet, smart, and playful personality starts to shine. She even knows some fun tricks like high five, spin, and “bang bang”! ✨

Jovi has so much love to give—he’s just waiting for someone to give him the chance. 🤍🐾

This big, goofy boy traveled all the way from Texas and is still waiting for a family to call his own. He loves people, adventures, playtime, and being as close to his favorite humans as possible. 🥺

Jovi is looking for an active family who will embrace his big personality and continue helping him work on his manners. He could live with another playful dog and would do best with teens or older who are comfortable with his size and enthusiasm.

A Special Home Needed for Miss Rita

Our sweet 10-year-old Rita is looking for a very special family to open their heart and home to her.

Rita has quickly become a favorite among our staff and volunteers. She is a gentle, loving girl who enjoys the simple things in life—being pet, getting brushed, leisurely walks, cozy naps, and, most of all, spending time with her people. She is blind in one eye, but has been for most of her life and navigates the world just fine!

Recently, Rita was diagnosed with kidney disease and is currently receiving medication and supportive care. Based on her age, diagnosis, and current kidney values, our veterinarian has recommended that Rita be considered a hospice placement. While we cannot predict exactly what her timeline will look like, our focus is on keeping her comfortable, happy, and surrounded by love.

And Rita is still very much enjoying her days. She loves attention, walks wonderfully on leash, and is perfectly content finding a cozy place to relax near her people. Her diagnosis is part of her story, but it certainly isn't all of who she is.

Rita would thrive in a quiet, relaxed home with a family who understands that her medical needs will require ongoing care. She can live with respectful older dogs and older teens who understand that this senior lady appreciates a peaceful lifestyle.

We know welcoming a hospice dog into your home is a special commitment, but our biggest hope is that someone will look beyond Rita's diagnosis and see the wonderful girl we get to see every day.

Rita deserves a home of her own, a cozy bed, people to love, and the chance to enjoy each day as it comes.

Rico has traveled all the way from Texas looking for one thing: a place to finally call home. 🤍🐾

We don’t know much about Rico’s life before Yankee, but we do know he’s a sweet, deserving boy who just needs someone willing to give him a chance.

Rico can be hesitant with new people and needs time to learn that he’s safe. But once he trusts you, you’ll meet the affectionate, lovable guy we’ve all fallen for. 🥺 He loves walks, frozen treats, getting his fluffy coat brushed, and spending time with his favorite people.

He’s looking for a patient, active family willing to continue building his confidence and working on his leash reactivity. A foster or foster-to-adopt home would be especially wonderful, giving Rico the chance to decompress and show us who he truly is outside of the kennel. 🏡

Rico isn’t asking for perfection—just patience, love, and someone willing to choose him. 🤍
