My booked are open for October 🎃👻

‼️Please understand that I average about 2.5-3.5 weeks booked out (sometimes more depending on your availability and size of pet). I am, unfortunately for some, not the type of groomer that can often get you in same day or same week unless I have a cancellation. But I’m worth the wait!!

🗣️ a bit about me! I am a kennel free, one on one groomer specializing in anxious dogs, hand scissor work, and deshedding. I have a luxury grooming salon in my newly built home. I schedule enough time to ensure there is no rushing, proper sanitation is done, and try to limit any type of overlapping appointments.

‼️It is JUST me, and I only take 6-8 dogs or cats a day depending on size, grooming Wednesday through Saturday (occasional Sundays are offered!). Each pet can take 1-3 hours. I highly encourage rebooking your next apt when you leave ❤️

💲I charge for breed/size, starting at $65-75 for small dogs. This includes nail trimming, nail dremeling, ear cleaning, bath with luxury shampoo and conditioner, brush out, and haircut of your choice (unless matted).

If you’ve known me, you know Charlie. This week we will be saying goodbye to the greatest gift this world has given me. My heart and family will be left with an enormous hole. I will be taking this week to enjoy our last days and then time away to celebrate her memory.

Messages, texts, and calls will not be returned until Monday, Labor Day. ❤️🐾

Pawsitively Dapper is accepting new appointments (cats and dogs)! Text 518-641-2330 to get scheduled.

After some careful consideration, I am happy to report starting October 1st, I will be grooming FULL time Wednesday to Saturday (until June 2027). Appointments will remain ONE-on-ONE (kennel free), stress free, and appointment based. Week day appointments will be cheaper than weekends since weekends book up quickly. I will continue offering evening appointments for clients that work a standard Mon-Fri work week.

Pawsitively Dapper specializes in hand scissor, breed specific trims while also excelling in double coat desheds. I am fear free certified so I always welcome anxious pups!

*double coated dogs over 100 lbs will start at $150 for baths and go up if needing a haircut (example: Newfoundlands, Great Pyrenees , etc). Aggressive dogs can have an up charge if not disclosed at the time of booking.

Spring grad classes end this Sunday, summer semester starts Monday and I get married in 5 weeks! I’m a bit overwhelmed (in the best type of way, of course!)!

Come June I’ll only be offering pop up groom weekends! no more prebooked appointments aside from a few clients that have senior dogs or unique situations.

How this will work: at the end of each month I’ll post my pop up days or weekends I’ll be working for the next month coming up. Which will probably only be 6-7 days. First come, first serve.. This might mean your grooming schedule does not align with my availability or that I cannot get you in and I’m honestly so sorry about it.

Many of you know I am in grad school to become a dietitian. Fortunately but unfortunately i will be shifting my time and attention to my next chapter in life: dietetics and my family. I hope to take all of the immense detail and care I put in to grooming and transition that to the people that need people like me to maintain a health and happy life with no judgment and a good understanding of most recent science. In order to be taken seriously in this field, I need to start networking within it and I’m missing a lot of those opportunities and conversations.

Disclaimer: these are just the salons that I have either worked with or know, so they are general recommendations! if you want a personal “I put my name behind this” groomer, I have a wonderful groomer I trust in Saratoga! Yep, it’s a hike!

🚨An important update for any currently booked puppies or kitties!

I have had an official schedule change and will be reaching out to anyone booked during those overlapping conflicts.

Until June, appointments will be adjusted to primarily evening based with 3 weekend day offerings a month and extreme limited availability. Most of you are on a reoccurring schedule so I will be in touch in the next week if your appointment is affected. If you don’t hear from me, your appointment lands on a day this conflict does not overlap and you’re good to go!

This might mean our schedules do not align right now and that’s ok! I can always send our referrals to other local salons. Or if you’re willing to travel one or two times, some amazing friends in the albany area.

Don’t fret! Schedule should return to normal mid June!

Hi everyone! Some very important updates-

Grad classes are in full swing which means appointments are LIMITED. Extremely limited!

I am fully booked for February. Between it being a short month and these snow storms, it’s been a struggle!

It is crucial for you to text me after you leave to book your next apt, please dont anticipate me remembering to book you. Im lucky to remember what day of the week it is 🤣 if you dont text me or i dont text back a confirmation, you do not have an apt booked.

March and April I will be away 2-3 weekends which means those months will fill fast.

I WILL BE CLOSED FOR 3 WEEKS: May 25th - June 15th for my wedding on the west coast! Plan accordingly!!

I am no longer taking new clients right now - I appreciate all of the referrals. I may open my books back up come summer and things slow down.

Lastly, for those that don’t know… Charlie was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in May. She had her leg amputated in June and was given 4-6 months. She’s doing amazing but if anything happens with her and she declines, appointments will be canceled with effort to try my best to reschedule based on my mental state. This dog is my entire world and I hope she lives forever BUT Incase she doesn’t, I hope all of my current clients can understand and give me grace.
