I started all 4 of my kids yesterday and bathed and finished grooming them today, started at 9:30 and finished @2:30.. I can say that I have been present for all of my furkids from birth till now .. including my heart dog, Pumba in 1997… almost 30 years ago.. that is crazy to me.. Jackie was born in 2006, she gave me Kiara in 2013… it’s an amazing experience, whelping a litter of puppies and watching them discover the world around them .. watching them learn and make mistakes.. and finding them forever homes that will love them like I did… and then there’s the 3 that stayed😄 Moose, Lexi and Karma . Growing up , I never pictured myself as a poodle person, but I thank June for introducing me to the poodle world and giving me my first poodle❤️. It saddens me to know that this is the end of her breeding line, no more Aftermath.. I’m sure there are some lines that go back to Derek , or Kruz, and even the original Karma, and I know there are many more behind multiple AKC lines, so I know it’s still carried on, but so many generations ago…
Kiara is almost 14, Moose and Lexi just turned 9, and Karma is almost 7….my kids are aging on me😕. And yes , my kids, I have the four legged kind… Kiara had 14 puppies between 2 litters, and I cried every time when one went to their forever homes.. that was 11 cries of worry, and heartache, and joy, and hopefulness that I did enough .. I know my next 4 cries will be beyond heartache.. hopefully not anytime soon🙏🏼
