We just wrapped up 6 days of herding at Purina Farms, what a way to spend a week!

We showed in AKC B course (open field work) and D course (ranch style work) at the German Shepherd Dog Club of America and the Border Collie Society of America - BCSA National Specialties.

We got to see some amazing teams work, learn some lessons, and bring home some ribbons!

Kit earned a High in Trial on D course and B course over the week and Steel earned a High in Trial and a Reserve High in Trial on D course. Kit also snagged Highest scoring dog under 3 years on B course sheep at the Border Collie National and they both finished some titles. Storm earned a 2nd place out of 18 Started dogs in B course sheep.

A huge thank you to all the judges, chair, secretary and stock handlers, without you, we wouldn't get to play!

What do you do when your morning lesson can't make it? Sleep in? Nah,work your own dogs, of course! (But a part of me definitely wanted to sleep in...)

These poor guys have not been getting much time on stock with all this heat so we thoroughly enjoyed this morning (even if it rained on us a little).

Waiting their turn to work this morning.

Which one is not like the others? ☺️

The ironic part is they all have her to thank for me getting into herding in the first place. ❤️
