It’s fly season and we are already seeing summer sores appear. Now is the time to deworm every horse w ivermectin or quest (at appropriate weight) and start to control the fly population. Predators are a good start to add now and see the results in 4-6 weeks

Update- for those who have asked, yes we are selling our farm and current home to EPVP. NO we are not closing, moving out of the area or leaving central florida. My kids no longer ride competitively and we want to find a smaller place so we can spend more time as a family as less time maintaining a large farm. EPVP will continue to provide excellent service to our clients and community just as we always have and we will be looking for a new location as time goes on. Thank you for all your support.

There is one confirmed case of equine herpes at the Tampa Bay Downs racetrack. The horse that is affected has not left the track in many months and is not in any way connected to the outbreak out West. They have put in quarantine protocols and are monitoring all horses that are involved please if your horse is due or overdue for their vaccine please call our office so we can get you set up and vaccinated
