I truly LOVE what I do, and I love being able to share this part of my life with each and every one of you! 🥹💚

First and foremost, thank you to all of the parents who have trusted me with your little cowboys and cowgirls. Allowing me to be a part of their riding journey is something I will never take for granted! Watching them grow, gain confidence, build skills, and develop a love for these amazing animals is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. 🤠🐴

A HUGE thank-you to Hillside Equine Boarding & Training for allowing me to run my business at your facility and use your wonderful horses. I’m so grateful to have a place where I can share my passion and help others create their own memories in the saddle! 💚

Thank you to the Bayer family for helping me get this journey started, hauling my horse and Tater so I could begin giving lessons, and helping turn this dream into something real. Your support in those early days meant more than you know! ❤️

I’m also so thankful for the opportunities I’ve had during my horse training days to help both horses and riders reach their individual goals and advance to the next level together. There is something so rewarding about watching a horse and rider grow, overcome challenges, build trust, and become a stronger team. Every horse and rider is different, and being able to help them progress at their own pace is something I truly love! 🐎🤎

None of this would have been possible without the grace of God and the amazing individuals who have supported, encouraged, and helped me along the way. I am beyond blessed to look back and see how far this little business has come in just ONE YEAR! 🙏🏼✨

One of my favorite parts of this journey has been the bonds I’ve created with my little cowboys and cowgirls, the relationships I’ve built with their parents, and even helping some families find their forever horses and bring them home to Hillside! 🐴❤️ There is something so special about being part of those memories, and I cherish every single one.

Jada Shanel’s Riding and Training is more than just a business to me. It’s my passion, my dream, and something I’m so proud to continue building. 💚

🤎🐴 A DAY TO REMEMBER AT HILLSIDE BOARDING & TRAINING! 🐴🤎

I had the honor of welcoming the Girl Scouts out to Hillside Boarding & Training for a special barn tour and an opportunity to share my passion for horses and what I do every day! 🥹💚

We got to walk through the barn, meet all of our beautiful horses, and let the girls interact with them, build connections, and experience the special bonds that make the equine world so amazing. 🐎✨

One of my favorite parts was getting to talk to the girls about the many career opportunities in the equine industry, whether that’s becoming a veterinarian, veterinary technician, horse trainer, boarding facility owner, and so much more! We also talked about what it means to be an entrepreneur, own a business, and turn something you love into a career. 💚

As a business owner and riding instructor, it meant so much to me to have the opportunity to share my journey, encourage these young girls to dream big, and show them that there are so many different paths they can take in life. You never know what kind of inspiration or spark you can leave in a young person! 🤍

I truly loved every minute of this experience, and I’m so grateful to the Girl Scouts for allowing me to be a part of such a special day for these girls. Thank you for choosing Hillside Boarding & Training and giving me the opportunity to share my love for this industry with the next generation! 🥹🐴

I can’t wait to do this again someday! Here’s to inspiring the next generation of horse lovers, future entrepreneurs, and equine professionals! 🤎🌟

🤠💚 BACK IN THE SADDLE! 💚🤠

After some time off due to this crazy summer heat, I’m SO happy to finally be back out there with my clients!! 🐴☀️

I want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of my amazing clients for being so understanding, patient, and flexible during the heat advisories. I truly can’t thank you guys enough for working with me and understanding that the safety of my clients AND horses always comes first. 💚

Due to the high heat indexes and limited lesson horses available, I have not been accepting new clients during this time. Once I have more availability open up, I will officially start accepting new clients again!

Thank you all for your continued support, patience, and understanding. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know! 🥹💚

🚨 LESSONS CANCELED THIS WEEK 🚨

Due to the current heat advisories and extreme temperatures, all riding lessons will be canceled for the remainder of this week. 🥵☀️🐴

I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! The safety and well-being of my riders, families, and horses always comes first. 💚

Lessons will resume next week! 🤠

If needs be we will change your regular lesson time to a cooler time of day, we can work together to find a time that works best! 🌅🐎 (next week)

🐴 RIDING LESSON WEATHER POLICY 🌡️

Keeping our riders & horses safe comes first!

☀️ HOT WEATHER
When temperatures and/or heat index become unsafe, lessons may be:

* Moved to an earlier/later time
* Shortened or modified
* Rescheduled to another day
* Canceled if conditions are unsafe

🌡️ GENERAL GUIDELINES

* Under 85°F: Normal lessons
* 85–90°F: Modified/light lessons as needed
* 90–95°F: Shorter, lighter lessons recommended
* 95°F+ / Heat Index 100°F+: 🚫 No mounted lessons
* Heat Advisory: 🚫 Lessons may be canceled or rescheduled

🐎 Our horses’ health comes first.
Extreme heat can put horses at risk for dehydration, overheating, and heat stress—especially during strenuous exercise.

💚 Thank you for understanding!
Weather decisions will be made with the safety and well-being of our riders and our horses as the top priority.
