Honored to share more about the farm and my book on Channel 2’s Houston Life with a special guest, Kona Kiah!

DiIorio farmers market has been selling fresh produce in Hempstead since 1911. But their family history traces back to a small town in Italy. We'll learn more about this local family farm that's been serving the community for 7 decades and how they're honoring that legacy. Plus We met their pup Kona...

Woke up this morning and Cody's Watermelon Summer was on the news. I still can’t believe it.

If you caught the segment on Great Day Houston, you already know a little about the story. If you didn't: it's about a farm kid named Cody, his dog Koda, and a summer that teaches you courage doesn't have to be loud to be real.

I'm doing a book signing and reading this Saturday, August 8th at 10 AM at The Switch Movie Theatre in Hempstead, TX. It will be a grand time having the book shown on the BIG SCREEN! Bring your kids, bring a copy if you've got one, and come say hi. I'll be there all morning.

There will also be a SUPER SECRET SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT after the book reading!!! 🤫
