This page was created in August 2014 to find the most misunderstood breed of dogs Furever homes, Bullies. bait dog was walked out of the woods from a makeshift fighting ring. His body scarred, torn, & bloody, he was rushed to an animal hospital where he faced a long road to recovery. It was only fitting to name him “Trooper”. As time passed, Trooper became the poster boy for CLB. His motto always was, “Together we can make a difference in these Pibble’s Lives.”
November of 2020 Trooper crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This rescue is his legacy, so we find it only fitting to rename this page. “Trooper’s Country Love Bullies”, is in loving memory of a dog that was saved from a bad life & given a second chance at life.

CLB Alumni Danny here. “Happy National Puppy Day” 💕
Although I will be around 10 years old this summer, I am a puppy at heart.
I went from almost being euthanized at a Texas shelter, to being saved by this rescue, to being adopted & moving to Iowa. I am living my best life. 💕
If you can be anything…please be kind to one another. 🐾🐾

Ok everyone we are working with this wonderful rescue to get some of the babies out of Texas.
