I met belle when she only had 30 minutes until her euthanasia deadline and I didn’t want her last day to be spent cooped up in a kennel. She really turned in the charm for me just at the kennel door, then outside she never stopped wagging her tail. She is extremely treat motivated and will jump straight up bc that’s what she thinks you are asking her to do. This girl is just a bundle of joy and will for sure keep a smile on your face!

German Shepherd Mix | Neutered Male | 2Y | 41.4 lbs | HW-

Alright guys, this is a VERY GOOD BOY!! Like my absolute favorite pup at the shelter right now, and there are some very good ones there currently! Al is the total package - calm, friendly, playful, easygoing, and loves to melt into your lap for cuddles. And did I mention that he's sooo handsome?? He's on the list for length of stay and it's crazy to me that a beautiful, perfect boy like this hasn't been snatched up by an adopter yet. He walks beautifully on a leash and did super well on his TT with another male who was being very forward. He seems to have an easygoing personality that molds to whatever dog he's with, because we ended up using him for multiple temp tests since he did so well. I haven't been able to stop thinking about him since I met him (and I took him out both days I was at the shelter) so that speaks to what a special boy this is. He needs a foster or adopter to save his life, and he will be an absolute delight to the lucky, future family who gets him. Please don't let this weekend be his last!!

Peony has a smile that is contagious! She’s here for a good time and has that happy go lucky lab personality you can’t help but fall in love with. She sits for treats, poses for pics, and even doubles as a weed-eater 😉 she was playful on her temperament test with other young pups and seemed to really love a small puppy who she was more gentle with!

German Shepherd Mix | Spayed Female | 2Y | 43 lbs | HW-

If you've ever wanted a teeny tiny little pocket Shep then look no further than Miss Tessa girl! She is just an amazing pup! She's cute as a button and even gave me a little paw lift during her photos. She loves her treats and seems super trainable. She was quiet and well behaved in her kennel and she's been at the shelter for a while, which usually means she's been a good girl! She can be a little shy at first and flinched away from me when I reached towards her too fast - so just be mindful that she will need some decompression which is normal for her breed. On her temp test with three other females she was super playful and she became besties with two of the younger pups in the group. They were just running around and playing and dragging us along with them🤣 She did have a mohawk up the whole time, but showed no signs that she was uncomfortable or unfriendly - so that just might be her being a socially awkward girlypop. This is a good girl and I hope she can make it out of the shelter and find her forever❤️

Cocoa really is THAT girl and I am so shocked she keeps getting passed up by adopters. I got the privilege of hanging out with her for a bit until some adopters came looking for her. In our short time together she let me dress her up, she sat so pretty for treats, paw up because she’s classy, and her teeth chatter when she gets super excited about the treat. She is easy to leash, easy to handle, and was friendly on her temp test. She is the total package and I am sad people kept overlooking her.

🆘 KIANNA is on the euthanasia list TUESDAY 5/26 🆘

I LOVE a brindle baby so of course Kianna caught my eye. The little brindle pitties are some of my favorites because they are confident and eager and just plunge into any new experience headfirst. That's definitely this girl! In the run she actually was not as energetic as I was expecting (especially after she dragged me there, she will need some leash training) and was actually super easy to handle. She sat eagerly for treats and showed off her little bat ears and teefies! When I was talking to Becca in the run next to me she didn't mind wandering off to do her own thing, but would come back to me for pets and hugs. We temp tested her with three other girls and she happily trotted alongside all of them. Kianna had a bad day at the shelter recently where she growled at the ACT cleaning her kennel and snapped at them when they tried to take away her enrichment. Because of this, she's been labeled as rescue only for resource guarding, which will significantly hurt her chances of making it out😭 I'm really devastated about this, I think this is a really good girl but she will need someone who is understanding and willing to work with her if she's not perfect at first. She deserves that chance, and I hope her person sees this and can help her❤️

Audrey is just a happy go-lucky girl with not a care in the world, she has no idea that she's going to be euthanized today 😭 when I met this girl she was recovering from her spay so she was SO excited to be out of the kennel and free of her cone. She happily ran in circles around the run and that's why her tongue is hanging out in all the photos 🤣 this girl is young, spayed, and HW-! But she's a high-energy plain looking pittie and I know that's going to make it tough for her to be noticed. I hope a hero steps up for her🤍

Marcella may be shy at first, preferring the safety of a cozy corner while she figures things out, but behind those nervous eyes is a very sweet pup who wants to connect. During dog testing, she was especially interested in the other dog, lingering nearby with curious “I want friends… but I’m not sure how” energy. With a little patience, kindness, and time to build confidence, Marcella seems like the kind of dog who could truly blossom into a loyal best friend.
