Happy $5 Friday, family.

We have reached that point again where the needs of the rescue are beginning to stack up. Food for everyone is right around the corner, Zeus’ eye surgery is quickly approaching, and with four growing babies in the nursery, potty pads are disappearing almost as fast as we can put them down.

Every single dollar that comes into this rescue goes right back into the care of these little lives. Their food, medical care, holistic therapies, supplies, and everything in between happen because people like you choose to be part of their story.

Today, I’m asking you to look beyond the number five. While we call it $5 Friday because every five-dollar gift truly adds up, if your heart and your circumstances allow, consider making it $10 Friday, $25 Friday, $50 Friday, or whatever amount feels aligned for you. Every gift creates breathing room for the next vet visit, the next bag of cat food, the next package of potty pads, and the next baby who needs a safe place to land.

If giving isn’t possible today, sharing this post is another beautiful way to help us reach someone who can.

We received an email from a concerned member of the community regarding Nicholas’s public plea for legal representation following his wrongful termination from Home Depot. We were informed that a highly respected attorney, Rosie Posie, Attorney at Paw, has officially agreed to review his case.

After carefully examining the evidence—including the doctor’s note documenting Nicholas’s temporary goat transformation after consuming baby goat’s milk—Attorney Rosie Posie believes there may be grounds for a wrongful termination claim.

According to reports, Home Depot would prefer to avoid the negative publicity surrounding the case and may be willing to discuss reinstating Nicholas’s employment if he decides he wants his apron back.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Aunt Marsha, who somehow managed to convince ChatGPT to bring Rosie Posie to life exactly the way she imagined her. From the power suit to the tiny handbag to the “Attorney at Paw” nameplate… we have laughed entirely too hard over this.

We don’t know whether Nicholas will return to Home Depot or continue exploring entrepreneurship, but one thing is certain…
