Kaax is making progress!

Today we worked on getting him closer to other dogs and building his confidence.

At first, he was nervous and hesitant, but with patience, motivation, and guidance, he started opening up.

And when it was time for the next challenge… he did amazing! 👏🏾

We’re just getting started. Stay tuned for the next class! 👀

Meet Kaax 🐾 The dog with NO hair and a whole lot of personality.

Kaax is a standard Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless Dog), and he’s joining The K9 Professor for behavior modification.

His biggest challenge? Dog reactivity. He’s had some serious incidents with other dogs, so our goal isn’t just obedience. It’s teaching Kaax how to make better decisions while giving his owners the tools to confidently handle him.

He’ll spend one week with us for Board & Train before we transition the rest of his training back home with his owners.

The work starts now. 🎓🐕

Follow along to see Kaax’s transformation.

The worst part about owning a dog is when they start showing aggression and biting the people that love them the most.

When you call your vet asking what you can do, you’ll usually hear two options: put them on medication or get them trained.

This owner chose training and it was the best decision they could have made.

Beau was a fear biter. He needed structure, clear rules, boundaries, and confidence. Through consistent training, he’s made incredible progress and has become a completely different dog.

Now Beau is ready to head home and show his family the new version of himself. 🐾

At The K9 Professor, we don’t just teach dogs, we train owners and build relationships that last a lifetime.

Watching a dog gain confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of this job.

Stone came in with resource guarding issues. Today, he’s leaving with the tools to succeed and a family that knows how to continue the journey.

Training isn’t about controlling your dog, it’s about teaching them how to make better decisions.

Resource guarding doesn’t have to define your dog’s future.

Every dog deserves a chance. Every owner deserves the knowledge to lead.

“My Dog is well trained BUT…” This is one of my favorite lines I like to hear when people walk up to me and ask if I’m a Dog Trainer.
