I’m in. 🍔🍺 Barkley’s patio bar in midtown features a full off-leash dog park and a special dog-only menu serving Pupsicles, Good Boy Beer, Pupcorn, Cheeseburgers in PAWradise and other unique treats. Yappy Hour is every weekday from 3-6. Full menu for humans too. 😉

Paws on Patios, a movement headed by native Houstonian Patrick Walsh, passed in Houston in 2011 when the City of Houston’s Department of Health and Human Services began issuing permits for qualifying restaurants to allow dogs on their patios.

Now, the rest of Texas can follow. 🐕🐕🐕

In a move sure to please some and upset others: the Texas senate has approved a bill that would allow dogs at restaurants.
