Huge shoutout to the incredible apartment communities and concierge staff we work with every day like The kindness and accommodation we receive honestly means so much and this was such a sweet reminder of that.

🚨 URGENT: FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED – HOUSTON 🚨

Ghost isn’t just another dog to us—he was a client.

We’ve worked with Ghost and gotten to know him as a sweet, social, and well-balanced dog who truly enjoys being around people and other dogs.

We were recently notified that Ghost has ended up at Harris County Animal Control after being given away outside of the rescue process. This was not an approved placement, and unfortunately, he is now back in a very stressful situation—through no fault of his own.

Ghost is about 2–3 years old, ~45 lbs, Shepherd/Husky mix:
✔️ Good with dogs
✔️ Good with kids
✔️ Potty trained
✔️ Working on leash & crate training
✔️ Playful, affectionate, and people-oriented

From our firsthand experience, Ghost is an easy dog to like. He enjoys walks, playtime, and being included, but also settles well once his energy is out.

He would do best in a home with a yard or an active owner who can continue giving him the structure and exercise he thrives on. If adopted JPS is willing to give adopters in our service area a discounted rate.
