Since January 14th was National French Bulldog Day, we thought we’d take a moment to shine a light on their health.
Frenchies are adorable, loyal companions but behind those squishy faces are serious medical risks that deserve attention, not normalization. From breathing difficulties (BOAS) to spinal and skin issues, awareness is key to protecting the ones we love most. 🐾❤️

Since Gulfgate Animal Hospital is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, my job here is DONE! ✅🐾

Y’all worked me so hard this month, I can’t wait to fly back to the North Pole, kick off my booties, and soak these tired elf feet in Epsom salt. 🧦🛁✨

Now I’m just patiently waiting for Santa to scoop me up—health certificate in hand, rabies vax up to date. Let’s roll, big guy. 🎅🏼📋🛷

🧺🧝‍♂️ “Clinic laundry almost took me OUT.
🧼 One load for fur
💦 One for p*e
🤤 One for drool
🍫 And I almost licked my fingers thinking it was Nutella… IT. WASN’T. 😵☠️

The parvo load? 🔥🧻 I washed it while holding my breath and whispering prayers.
Good thing I just got my 💉 rabies vaccine—guess I’m cleared to fly back to the North Pole tomorrow. 🎄🛷

I need hazard pay, a tetanus shot, and maybe an exorcism. 😂🙏

🎅🐾 Santa’s Naughty List…We checked it twice… and y’all’s pets are out here causing holiday emergencies. 😩

🍫 Ate an entire bag of chocolate — wrappers and all. Foil? Never heard of her.
🌽🔥 Stole the tamales — pancreatitis just entered the chat
💩 Left a “present” under the tree that did NOT smell like cinnamon
📦 Ripped open their own meds because they thought it was a snack
🧝‍♀️ Tackled the Elf on the Shelf mid-shift- Exploratory is that you?
🐶 Refused to p*e at home, but flooded our lobby like it’s their full-time job
🎁 Unwrapped all the presents (and ate half a bow… for ✨texture✨)
🧼 Rolled in mystery goo 5 minutes before their appointment
💩 Pooped in the lobby, locked eyes, and walked away with pride

🎁 But still expecting Santa to come through with treats, toys, and zero copay 🙄
