🐾 A Reminder About Microchipping 🐾

The sweet Basset Hound we recently rescued was not microchipped, which makes reuniting her with her family much more difficult.

A microchip is a simple but incredibly important way to help your pet find their way home if they ever become lost. Please make sure your pets are microchipped—and just as importantly, keep your contact information up to date with the microchip registry.

💜 A tiny chip can make a BIG difference in bringing a lost pet home. 🐾

🐾 Today is National Dog Day… although around here, we’re pretty sure EVERY day is National Basset Hound Dog Day! 🐾

Today and every day we celebrate long ears, short legs, soulful eyes, wagging tails, couch hogs, treat beggars, and stubborn little personalities that make Basset Hounds so incredibly special.

Here’s to the hounds who have found their forever homes, the ones still waiting for theirs, and every Basset who has left those big ol’ paw prints on our hearts. 🐶❤️

🎒📚 BACK TO SCHOOL, BASSET STYLE! 🐾

The backpacks are packed, the pencils are sharpened, and the ears are… still dragging on the floor. 😂

These two are ready for another school year!

📚 Least favorite subject: Sit & Stay

🐾 OFF THE MARKET… I’VE BEEN ADOPTED! 🐾

Hey everybody, Sully here! You might remember me as Sam Elliott, but these days I’m answering to Sullivan… “Sully” to my people. 💙

I’m happy to report that I have officially found my FOREVER HOME! 🏡❤️

So far, this forever-mom thing is pretty fantastic. My days are filled with playing with my toys, patrolling the backyard for lizards 🦎, and making sure my mom gets plenty of entertainment. Apparently, I’m very good at that last part. 😎

Once I’ve worn myself out, I switch gears and become a professional snuggle bug. I take that job VERY seriously. 🥰

Best of all? I am SO loved. ❤️ And something tells me this is only the beginning of all the adventures my new life has in store.

Thanks to everyone who helped me get here. I’ve officially traded my “adopt me” status for SPOILED & LOVED FOREVER!
