Welcome Dr Molly's new cats!

You will probably only ever find them at NW because the staff failed at making them barn cats and only made them into bait for some large wild animal.

We've seen a spike in Parvo cases this week and it is no surprise, the season is here!

Let's review some facts:

1.) Common symptoms: Decreased appetite, lethargy, vomiting, and diarrhea (+/- blood)
2.) While the virus can infect dogs year-round, warmer weather and increased outdoor activity leads to higher transmission rates.
3.) Puppies are highly vulnerable until their vaccine series is completed.
4.) Adult and senior dogs are not immune due to age.
5.) Getting the vaccine as a puppy does not mean they are covered for life.

Most Important:
The vaccine HELPS the body fight off contraction, but they can still get it. If they do contract it, the vaccine works to lesson symptoms and fight it off.

Being vaccinated can mean life or death at any age, is your pup up to date?
