Day 3!! 🙌 Mishka is standing well and looking good! She got her bandages off and is now walking around with a shirt on! This is her right before I put her shirt on this morning! Everything is healing well! Her guardian angels are definitely doing an amazing job!! 🙏🙏

WE ARE WALKING 🙌
Just a little update! Mishka has made it to day 2. Everything is looking up for her! The wait for the surgery, the surgery itself, and now the aftercare! She is making it through everything with flying colors! Thank you to all for every positive vibe, wish, and prayer that was sent Mishka’s way during this time.

UPDATE! Mishka is up and walking as best she can. We took a small stroll around the front yard. She had to stop to rest a few times. One of which we ended up just sitting in the front yard together, watching nature and life go by for a moment. It’s definitely going to take an adjustment for all of us, but we have high hopes for this resilient girl!! Thank you again for the prayers and love; I think it’s working!!

How happy we are to have her back with us!! I cried so much when I first saw her! She is definitely having an adjustment period as she is down to just 3 legs now but she is strong and healthy!

🗣️UPDATE!! Our vet called this morning.
And wouldn’t you know it, she’s howling up a storm and acting like her normal self! I am beyond ecstatic and grateful that she has made it through the night! An angel was definitely on her side(Paula)! I know I’m going to cry so much when I pick her up in a few hours! Not that I haven’t been already! I’ve had her for over 10 years and I don’t see my life without her. It’s been a rough and sleepless night, to say the least, but she’s made it! Now she has to heal and learn how to walk with one less leg! Keep sending all your prayers and love her way as she heals and learns to navigate her new reality! 🙏

Finally got the call 📞. Our beautiful Mishka has successfully made it through surgery! 🙌
I’m beyond grateful to all who have wished her well 🙏. She still has recovery ahead of her and we are still in the danger zone, so please keep sending prayers, well wishes, positive energy, and love her way. Thank you, and I will update again when we get more information from our vet.

🙏Please pray for Mishka! 🙏
She had a growth appear on her leg and rapidly start growing. After testing, she thankfully had no metastases anywhere else, but it was determined she needed an amputation. She was just dropped off this morning at 7:30 am for surgery. During pre-surgical procedures, her blood work was coming back great, even at 11 years old, until they did the blood clot test. She passed the first clot test but not the second, meaning she is at a much higher risk of bleeding out or blood clots happening during or after surgery. So, we are left with few options: continue with the plan and hope for the best knowing the higher risks, bandage her up and keep her comfortable until she passes, or euthanasia. I refuse to let her go down without a fight, so she’s going through surgery now. We won’t get to see her until tomorrow. Beyond stressed/worried. Please send lots of love and prayers Mishka’s way until she is fully recovered! 🙏🙏🙏
