Most everyone knows of us as hydroponic greenhouse growers, and that is indeed our strong point, but has some plans in the works! We’ve spent the last number of weeks building out soil rows for a third-acre no-till organic market garden to begin producing a much wider variety of greens and other specialties that love the soil. The production will be old-school with a modern twist, good old fashioned dirt, with fantastic actively-aerated compost from our friends compost, organic fertilizers from , and of course, computer controlled irrigation. Special thanks to Andy and Isaac at Texas Earth Essentials for their help in getting it done...you can check them out . The “soil” below the rows is horrible hard-packed Texas clay, so this will be a long term process of building great and fertile soil, but stay tuned, and watch us grow...

Red okra is as delicious as it is intriguing. A relative newcomer, Red Burgundy okra was bred by Leon Robbins at Clemson University and introduced in 1983. It’s flavor is very similar to its green cousin, and when you cook it, it will revert to that color.

This is another stellar crop from that we are featuring in our this weekend, so please checkout the shop page on our website, so you can get yours today!
