So the other day, out of the blue I got a call from a family member of erelene's. She told me a horror story of when they visited erelene's mother.
A few details about erelene that was sad; like Zack is abusive, and weird he still cuts her meat! She said erelene does have long documented mental health issues, and zach has just taken over her complete mind. Erelene has a masters degree and is a teacher...before zach.
I can't tell to much but we are getting a copy of the video.
So a family member saw bruises on erelene's mother (the house was her house so the extended family was horrified to see the mother's condition. The most disturbing was the mom had bruises.
So they broke in the house, planted a many cam, and caught zach abusing the mother. They took the tape to the police and that is the proof they have on zach for the third degree elder abuse. And we know how hard it is to get charges filed. I will share the video with you guys when they sends it.
I will say the family member was just distraught of what the mom was living in, but they cried telling of the 20 dogs in stacked crates with blankets draped over them. They said all you could see was the little paws reaching out trying to get the family members attention. There was no airconditioning in the house or the shed put back where another 2p dogs were stacked. No rinning water either. The garbage was a foot deep on the floor, and of course the smell was horrible.
That just broke my heart know how long I knew there were issues but didn't not act because, well I am not the rescue police.
They said they emailed and tried to alert all the animal authorities, and rescue groups. No one would help. Another year would pass before we all joined together to expose her! Those poor dogs! I wonder if any are still in her care!
The family member wants to do all they can to help us, and was extremely grateful we had final done something for the dogs. Of course we don't even know where they are living.
