Our Mission
All of the dogs in the At Home Houston Border Collie Rescue Program are based in Houston TX. We work very hard with the dogs to ensure that they are on the right track for their next chapter in life. Currently we are looking for foster homes and welcome those to inquire about being a foster. We love our Border Collies and finding them the best path in life, teaching them more and more

about life each day!! If you're wanting to surrender a herding dog or have found one, I am more than happy to try and help as it's also part of my community out each to see what can be done in the existing home for a herding dog. We are limited on the amount of herding dogs and Border Collies we can help as this is a self-run non-profit rescue. INTRODUCING 🎉🎈 Miss Rosie 8 month Border Aussie Onward Surrender Finding Her Foster or Foster 2 Adopt Journey. She knew 0 about anything beyond her home and yard. She is shows skills in herding birds (barn hunt fun!) And she loves to follow her temp foster mom w the horses and other dogs. Rosie is VERY playful and loving taking direction easily. Also loves the ball and playing in the ponds 🌊🌟. She will need time and team work w rescue learning all the sounds and visuals w leash training and suburb environment . Teenagers are good fun and no cats (chase them not hurt). I would love to FIND Rosie a Fun FOSTER or FOSTER 2 ADOPT HOME.

ADOPTED: We were emailed by a rural shelter in TX to help this Cutie 6 month stray Female Needs an ADOPTER or FOSTER ASAP !! Even though she rides well the car, walks nicely on leash, learning tricks, and kennels up, kitties hiss from cages she backs off and looks to her human- she is at risk of loosing her life any day now due to capacity at .
