Melbourne Groomers & Breeders, I need your help!

I’m looking for a handstripped dog in Melbourne to use for a grooming demonstration on the evening of October 13th.

I’m a former GroomTeam USA member and handstripping specialist, and I’ll be demonstrating proper coat work, technique, and finish.

I’m open to any breed, but a dog with a rolled coat would be preferred.

The dog must be comfortable being handled and suitable for a live demonstration.

Welcome to the Sarah Moon Grooms family, Jewel! 💕

Sometimes the first groom is all about starting fresh.

Jewel’s first visit meant a shorter haircut, but we also made a plan for regular grooming and home care to help her grow into the fluffy style her family is hoping for.

I can’t wait to watch her transformation over the next few appointments!

What a week! Congratulations to all of my clients on an incredible Houston World Series of Dog Shows!

🏆 Bria (Hardtacks Fabulous Scandal) – Best of Breed in the 4–6 Month Puppy class on two days.

🏆 Sydney (Chestnut’s Back in Black) – Best in Sweepstakes at the Lone Star English Cocker Club Specialty.

🏆 Marty (CH. Chestnut’s Black to the Future) – Finished his championship with a 5-point major at the Lone Star English Cocker Club Specialty.

🏆 Duke (CH. Jacee’s Black Gold’s Handsome Lil Devil), expertly handled by Chuy Moreno, continued making us proud in the ring.

Watching each of you work toward your goals and celebrate your accomplishments was one of the highlights of my week. Congratulations on a fantastic show, and thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey!

Welcome to the Sarah Moon Grooms family, Luna! ❤️

When Luna arrived, she was shy, reserved, and a little unsure of this whole grooming thing.

By the end of her appointment, she had a wagging tail, perky ears, and was happily taking treats.

Yes, she left looking adorable—but seeing a dog leave feeling more comfortable and confident than when they arrived is what means the most to me.

Welcome to the family, Luna. I can’t wait to watch your confidence grow with every visit.

Today was a little bit of everything…

Helping get some beautiful Miniature Schnauzers ready for the ring.

Showing a Miniature Schnauzer special.

Checking in on my client dogs and doing a little tidying to keep everyone looking their best.

Finishing the day with two big English Cocker Spaniel makeovers.

And, of course… ending the evening with a bowl of mac & cheese in bed before getting some much-needed rest.

Now it’s on to Day 2! Looking forward to another full day of great dogs, great friends, and making the most of every minute. Let’s do this!
