1. Keep them hydrated with plenty of fresh water
2. Avoid hot pavement to protect their paws
3. Provide shade and a cool place for them to rest
4. Never leave them in a hot car

“Yesterday was National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day!🐾 When preparing for disaster, remember to plan for your pet, too! Here is a short checklist to get your furry loved ones ready.

-Visit with your vet to obtain medical records, receive vaccinations, refill prescriptions, and have your pets microchipped.💉💊
-Create a go-bag with waterproof containers that include 3-7 days worth of food and water; 2 weeks worth of medications and first aid; currect pictures of your pet; and cleaning supplies.🎒🪣
