13 years young and living his best retirement life.

Val spent just a few hours with us, but he and Bailey (also 13 years young ☺️) became instant friends. Their itinerary for the day? Take a short stroll, admire the yard, enjoy a nice nap together, and remind everyone that being adorable never goes out of style.

I’d say this handsome gentleman absolutely nailed his modeling debut.

Somehow we’re already wrapping up another month of summer… ☀️🐾

July was full of wagging tails, zoomies, afternoon naps, snuggles, and so many happy memories.

This month I had the joy of spending time with Thor, Winston, Princess, Pizza, Tex, Moose, Dorothy, Nola… plus my forever sidekick, Bailey. ❤️

One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to know each dog’s unique personality. From the tiniest Yorkie mix to an extra-large Great Dane, every single one has brought something special into our home.

Thank you to every family who trusts Sit + Stay by Golden Heart with your best friend. It truly means the world to me, and I can’t wait to make more memories with all of these amazing pups (and the new faces still to come)! 🐶💛

Possible side effects include:
• Extreme sleepiness
• Puppy pile-ups
• Loud snoring
• Happy dreams
• Absolutely zero regrets

After a morning full of puppy zoomies, wrestling matches, toy stealing, potty breaks, snack breaks, and enough puppy energy to power a small city… everyone crashes. 😅

This is honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. Seeing all the dogs completely relaxed, safe, and sleeping peacefully reminds me they’re not just being watched—they’re truly at home here. 💛

I’d say today’s shift was a success. 🐶

Pizza didn’t even ask to see the photos… she already knew they were going to be fabulous.

🎶 Every dog deserves a theme song… and Chucho made sure he got one. 😂🐾

I may or may not have rewritten “I’m a Little Teapot” just for his morning walks. He’s tiny, he’s adorable, and if you don’t get that leash on fast enough, he’ll definitely let you know. 🤣
