Dear BRE family, we have some unfortunate news to share with you all. On Thursday Honey came up lame on her back left leg. Our trainer took her to the vet for an exam and some x-rays and ultrasound. The results showed a possible tendon injury but couldn’t confirm due to the level of swelling in the area. Our Trainer will bring Honey back to the vet in about two weeks for re-scans and will continue to care for her in the stall in the meantime. She is thoroughly spoiled, with cookies, toys, and attention from all of our amazing barn family! As sad as we are for Honey, this does provide our trainer a unique opportunity to educate our students about rehab for injuries like this! We will be making periodic updates while we work closely with her vet these next few months - if you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask in the comments!

Wow wow wow!! What an accomplishment for this student!! Her first show and she gets a special award on top of a clean sweep!! This kiddo worked so hard to achieve her goals and it sure shows!! She is one of the many successful students in our program and we are so proud of every single one!! We love getting to celebrate all of the wins for all of our students!! Well done kiddo!! 🥳🥳🥳

Throwback time! Our trainer thinks finding inner peace on Mrs. Butterballs is always a good way to spend teaching. While giving this lesson our students parent brought a little treat which brought our trainer so much joy after pestering our Buttercup for an hour, making sure she did not mind her being in the saddle all kinds of ways! This is a big part of having FUN while we also learn in and out of the saddle! Have a fabulous day BRE family!

CHECK OUT THESE PICTURES FROM THE FIRST UDJC SHOW OF THIS SEASON!!! Our trainer couldn’t be prouder of the students that came and participated in this past weekends show! BRE family let’s give a HUGE round of applause for all of our students, but a special shout out for two of our students as this was their first in person show EVER! Everyone had a whole lot of fun, with memories made and lots of lessons learned, and we cannot wait to do it all again in United Dressage & Jumping Club in their October show!

BRE Family let’s give a very big good luck to this student and Honey on their virtual class this Sunday!! This will be this pairs first competition together and have been working very hard on their connection these past few months in preparation for their class and we could not be prouder of them! NEW HORSE ALERT! Everyone welcome Aria to the BRE program! She has joined the program for a bit of an attitude adjustment with our trainer. Enjoy this insiders view of how some of the first session went and the progress that was made! Aria went from spicy to very willing very quickly, and our Trainer is very optimistic about her training after this first session and sure had fun and learned lots about our newest member!
