We spend a lot of time showing you Dr. Marco caring for YOUR babies, so it only feels right to introduce you to a few of the ones who have his heart ❤️

This photo pretty much says it all — lots of kisses, lots of love, and a veterinarian who is just as obsessed with his own animals as the rest of us are 😂💙

Being a pet parent himself is part of what makes Dr. Marco so passionate about the medicine he practices. He understands that when you bring your pet through our doors, you're trusting us with someone incredibly important to you 🧡

Handsome, ready, and protected! 🐾🩵

Crush came in for his first visit with us, and mom wanted to make sure he was ready for his upcoming daycare adventures 💙 We performed a heartworm test, got him started on NexGard Plus for prevention, and updated his Bordetella vaccine ❤️

If your pup is heading to daycare, boarding, or spending time around other dogs, planning ahead is important! Many facilities require certain vaccines and prevention before your pet can join the fun, and requirements can vary by facility 🧡

Even better — our $150 Wellness Package is a great way to get your pet caught up! It includes their annual exam, vaccines they're due for, heartworm test, and f***l test 🩵

Sweet Vida came in for a follow-up ultrasound after previously being diagnosed with a bladder mass — and we received some wonderful news. No masses were identified on her recheck, and her bladder appeared normal! 💙

While that's definitely something worth celebrating, continued monitoring is important. We recommended ultrasound rechecks every 4–6 months so we can keep a close eye on her bladder and watch for any future changes ❤️

This is such a great example of why follow-up care matters. Even when our pets are feeling great, rechecks can help us monitor previous concerns and stay proactive about their health 🧡

This little guy came in for his very first puppy visit, and while mom is still searching for the perfect name, he's already mastered being absolutely adorable 💙

He was such a calm little baby for his vaccines and knew exactly where he wanted to be afterward — cuddled up with mom ❤️ Those first puppy visits are such a special milestone, and we love helping pet parents start their babies off with a healthy foundation.

You may already recognize Dr. Marco from Tuesdays around the clinic, but we're so excited that you'll now be seeing a whole lot more of him! 💙

Dr. Marco is a loyal member of the NVC family, a wonderful veterinarian, and an even better friend. After previously caring for pets at our La Marque and NASA location, he's excited to make Houston Heights his home base and get to know even more of the pets and people in our neighborhood ❤️

You'll find Dr. Marco caring for our Heights patients most days of the week, with Dr. Richardson continuing to see patients on Fridays 🧡

Mia came in for her spay procedure and was an absolute sweetheart from start to finish ❤️ She did such a great job for her IV catheter placement and handled everything like a champ. We couldn't get enough of that adorable face! 🧡
